They are in China

THEY MADE IT! The guys arrived into Beijing, had a Peking Duck dinner, stopped at the grocery store, and settled in their room. Hopefully they are able to sleep right now. I remember waking up the first few days in China at about 3am and feeling wide awake.

Many of you have asked me what their itinerary will be like~

March 10 & 11 Beijing (Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jade Factory, Lunch, Great Wall, and then head to Xi'an, Shaanxi Province)

March 12 Hopefully Gotcha Day
In Xi'an, Shaanxi Province until March 18

March 18 Head to Guangzhou
I know Jeff will be happy about this
I am sure dinner at the Cow and Bridge will be in the itinerary for sure

March 19 Dr Exam
March 20 US INS processing
March 21 Pick up Visa
March 22 Head home to the USA

Checking in at the Chicago Airport

The BIG plane taking them to China (Lily says they are going on BIG plane to get Ty baby)

Some noodles for your flying enjoyment

Ready for Peking Duck dinner

The duck specialist (Jeff's words)

"Feast"

A trip to the grocery store for some essentials

Here at home~
Lily in her red snow suit (she picked it out), her blue snow boots (she loves blue and picked these out of the boys section), and a hat that is for Ty. After I bundled Lily up yesterday I told her we just needed to put her hat on. She ran into Ty's room and got what she thinks is her hat. Lori will recognize this cute hat. She sent this and many other wonderful things (post on that coming soon) for Ty.
So.... Lily says she is BORROWDING (her pronunciation) TY's HAT.

This is how Lily drinks her milkshapes (her word for milkshakes) lately......
She says, "I need my mittens for my hands to stay warm for drinking my milkshape".

I'm so thankful Jeff & Ed are safe and love the pictures and the food looks wonderful.
Miss Lily looks adorable in her red snowsuit and the hat completes the ensemble! That's a great idea to wear mittens when drinking something cold.......:) Love, Gamma

So glad to hear that Jeff and Ed arrived safely - and were awake enough for a banquet!

Lily's snow ensemble is so original and so cute! Love the sunglasses! Ty's hat is the perfect accent!

Leave it to Lily to figure out how to drink a "milkshape" properly! Who knew?

Love, Auntie Maxi and Uncle Mike

I am so excited for you. I am glad the guys make it safely, and I cannot wait to see Ty Baby in his Daddy's arms. I will be checking in everyday. Thank you for all your encouragement, it helps hearing from others who have been there, as you well know.

Love Lily in her snowsuit...and I think I might start wearing my mittens when I drink milkshapes :)too...she is so smart!!

The striking red snow suit is just awesome...even if the hat is borrowded. And love the idea of wearing mittens to drink a cold milkshape! Think that one's getting borrowed.

The pictures and videos are so much fun!! Really does give you a sense of what it's like to be there. As for Gotcha Day...fingers crossed that it's tomorrow (or is it today there already?!). The word 'excited' just isn't enough!!!!
