Our red thread begins again

On July 11th it will be one year ago that we held Lily Feifei in our arms for the first time. We will never forget that wonderful day. God truly blessed us!!!!!!!!! Lily has brought so much love and joy to our lives.

When we left China last year we both knew we would return. We know in our hearts that we have another precious child in China.

About a month ago we started our paperwork for our second China adoption. So... we are (what they say in the adoption community) paper pregnant.
While we know the wait ahead might be a long one we are still so very excited!
This process is certainly a roller coaster ride but we are ready!

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet,
regardless of time, place, or circumstance.
The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break.

Shopping Cart and Mom's Shoes

Miss Lily loves to fill her shopping cart with all of her stuff. While pushing her cart she loves to wear mom's shoes. Even more she loves the sound the shoes make on the tile floor.
Maybe that is what I sound like at the grocery store.

BLIGH SIGHS

This morning we had a Monarch on our Penta Flower.
I grabbed my camera quickly and Lily followed right behind me.
She thought the butterfly or bligh sigh (her word for butterfly) was really neat.... until the butterfly tried to land on her. Her blankie and cup went flying and she started screaming. This didn't seem to scare the bligh sigh one bit. The butterfly just went right back to the flower. With all of her jumping and screaming I managed to get a few pictures.

Now she is at the back door every few minutes saying, "Bligh sigh come on come on."

Our little Helmet Head

This is such a cute little helmet! However, Lily could care less about that. She loves to ride on the bike but has no desire for a helmet. Not even a cute one. Some of our neighbors have told her that she has a cute helmet. She looks at them and says, "NO CUTE HEMMIT."

"The Dora's"

Lily loves her Dora van!
Last week I noticed that all of her Dora's were taking a ride.
Check out the small one in the back seat. She called that one " Baby Dora". LOL

Trains

Knowing how much Lily loves trains we took her to a local Railway Museum. She loved walking through the old passenger cars and really enjoyed the 15 minute trolley ride.
We did too!

My Serious Lily

When Lily is doing something she likes she has a tendency to be very serious. This swing picture is a great example. When I started to take her out of the swing
she smiled and said, "MORE swing please."
She has a beautiful smile but her serious side is also very beautiful.

Our little medalist

I forgot to post this with the Little Gym pictures.
This was the medal each Beastie (the name of her age group at the Little Gym) received for completing the season.
Lily was SOOOOOOO proud of this medal ... or necklace as she called it.

Lily loves her Dora Van

It took Lily a while to like anything other than (her favorite) Boohbah. In the last couple of months she has started to like Dora and Sesame Street.

She LOVES her Dora books & toys. This Dora Van is one of her favorites.

We think she looks like a little Chinese Dora.
