Photos on the way

I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, if you saw our last post you know we are back from Walt Disney World.
We had SOOOOOOOOOOO much fun! We actually thought that Lily and Ty wouldn't be able to keep up with us... I have to laugh at myself for thinking that.... it was the other way around. Jeff and I were exhausted each evening but the littles seemed to be ready for more.

They were up before 7... ready to go see Mickey every day... and up until about 9 each night.

Surprisingly we had no meltdowns... from any of us... hee hee. We all got tired and cranky here and there but no meltdowns. That is pretty good for 2, four year olds and 2 tired parents. hee hee

We all managed to stay healthy. The weekend before we left Lily had a fever and wasn't feeling well at all. The day we left the fever was still there and she was pretty worn out. But we decided to go and thankfully she felt much better the next day. Maybe the excitement and sun was the best medicine!

The littles had NO fear... they went on any rides we would take them on.... Ty thought the Haunted House was funny (he thinks Finding Nemo is scary... go figure). He cracked up at the end of the Haunted House when they say a ghost goes home with every guest.

Jeff always thought going to an amusement park with me was like a marathon... I like to hit all the biggest coasters first... one right after another. Well, I am pretty sure I just met my match with the littles and I can just see the future. They are going to wear us out. I hope we can keep up.

The weather was perfect (80 and no humidity). We didn't wait more than 15 minutes for anything (most rides/attractions we just walked on with no wait). The Thanksgiving crowd finally arrived on our last day. Perfect timing.

It couldn't have gone better.... we had a magical time together!!!!!!!

Stay tuned... I'll be posting lots of pictures in the coming weeks.

Fun Days ahead

We are getting ready to visit the world of Minnie & Mickey Mouse.
The littles have NO idea... are they in for a surprise or what?

I'll give ya all the details when we return.... I'll be back to the blog after Thanksgiving!

OH DEER

A few weeks ago this Bambi look alike paid us a visit. The littles thought it was awesome that this deer was just checking out our back yard....they yelled HEY DEER through the window. Bambi seemed pretty interested in us and just looked at me when I snapped picture after picture through the window.

Minnie & Mickey Mouse

When Lily and Ty said they wanted to be Minnie and Mickey for Halloween I thought it was perfect.
Minnie and Mickey are quite a pair and so are the littles.

Lily reminded me...
MOM...... last year we put our costumes on WAY before trick or treat to take pictures and that is a really good plan for us.
So we did the same thing this year and it was a good plan.

Minnie and Mickey were full of poses.... all their own ideas.........

According to Lily this is one of Minnie's poses....

Ty also informing me this was a Mickey look...and for some reason he decided shoes weren't needed...

Sleeping Mickey (his words)

Lily thought it was so funny that she used our pumpkins as little seats and the stems for handles...

A fall view

The other night I looked out our back window... then quickly grabbed my camera knowing the view was going to change very soon.
This is one of those times that my camera didn't quite capture what my eyes were seeing. Seems to be a frequent occurence... of course it is the camera's fault (certainly wouldn't be the user... hee hee).
The sky was a deep dark blue (rain was coming), the sunset was shining on the fall leaves and the colors just looked so bright and crisp.....The trees looked like they were twinkling....
And it only lasted a minute.....

Fun in the fall
