Welcome

That is how we feel....

We have been in our new home and new community for 2 months now. It is hard to believe that 2 months have passed.

Everyone has been so nice to us and made us feel so welcome. Friends brought us dinner, friends invited us to dinner, neighbors brought us welcome gifts, and family has done so much for us.

We all LOVE our new home!!!

The ? we get the most... Are you adjusting to living in here/in the country?
WE are! It is a big change but we REALLY like it.
Of course we miss family, friends, and the church that we attended.
We miss being close to everything.... like Target... we use to live 15 minutes from Target and now it is almost 40 minutes. We also miss the MANY restaurants that we were close to. It is probably for the best that we aren't as close to so many restaurants.

BUT.....
We are enjoying finding and trying new places.
We found many indoor play places (that are fantastic). We found the many outdoor play parks as well (also fantastic). In fact the play areas around here are better and the littles couldn't be happier about that.
I take the littles to story hour each week... which is held at a local church. Story hour includes a story (of course), snack, and craft. Then the kids all stay to play in the indoor play area. The littles both LOVE this and it has been a great way for me to meet other moms.

We all love that we have LOTS of space in our yard and behind our house. The littles love zipping all over the place in their Gator. They love riding their bikes in the flat driveway (our previous driveway was very steep). Ty is enjoying his new big boy bike (he was riding Lily's) and they both have roller skates now..... LOOK OUT.

We LOVE all of the trees in our yard. I can only imagine all the leaves in the fall..... Ty's eyes lit up when I mentioned that. Hee hee

We are just really happy here and while there are days when we miss the old we are sure enjoying life in the new.

It's not hard to figure out why the community opened their arms to your family - you're all a breath of fresh air and sunshine!! The minute I walked into your new home it felt like "home" and it's such a warm, inviting place. It's wonderful that you, Jeff & the Littles have settled in your new life. Love, Mom

Tiffany, just getting caught up on your last 3 blogs. I'm glad that you're enjoying your new home and community. The pictures of the Lily driving the Gator and Ty on the bike are so adorable. Love her sassy sunglasses and fun-spicey hair accessories! Been thinking about you and glad that I'm caught up. Where do the days go???
