With our recent move we ended up celebrating Ty's one year Gotcha Anniversary a little late. We kept it pretty low key... Ty was ok with that... he had a great day!
Here is what he wanted for his celebration.....
*Banana Chocolate Chip Waffles for breakfast
*Make Funfetti cupcakes (the littles love these)
*Hot Dog (his favorite) for lunch
*Watch the show Super Why
*Have spaghetti for dinner
Grandma and Grandpa N. also came over to help us celebrate....... Ty mentioned a million times that day that Grandpa N. came to China with Dad to bring Ty home.
I also took a few pictures of Ty on his special day.... Ty LOVES to pose for pictures. Jeff figured out that Ty is getting some of his poses from looking at catalogs.
Here is how the whole photo shoot with Ty works.....
I take the picture
Ty looks at it on the camera
He either smiles in approval or turns his nose up and says Ty NO like this picture... take new one momma
At which point he will change his pose if he feels the need
Repeat the process.....
***Miss Lily hears this whole process and comments THIS IS RIDICULOUS..... she goes off to play with our cat Marshall***

She doesn't take ballet but really wants to....
Apparently you have to pull your pants up very high for her these moves.....

Their favorite cupcakes.... I suggested making a different variety (say some homemade variety... not out of the box) and they looked at me like I was crazy...

Oh my goodness Tiffany...where to begin? Your children are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The photos are breathtaking. Lily is hysterical with her comments and her ballet at the counter. Ty is a hoot with his posing. I think I see a futue with GQ for him. What a great post! Happy Gotcha Day sweet boy!!!

That was too funny about him getting his poses out of magazines! He is a very handsome boy, I think he'll be modeling soon...very soon! Happy forever family day Ty! You have such special parents.

Oh my gosh, this post was hysterical. Congrats again on Gotcha day Ty. So funny w/ the poses (and from magazines, no less)! That's so funny. Lily's sideline of comments and the vision of her walking off to be w/ the cat is just priceless. Love your kitchen island! Wow!! So big. Oh, and Eliza loves Super Why too. Fun, fun post. How cute are those kids of yours!!!!! They crack me up. I'm sure you guys are in stiches all the time. Sounds and looks like a wonderful celebration was had for Ty's one year anniversary.

Oh Tiffy, those are just so precious! Ty's a regular mini model! Lily says 'this is ridiculous'... hee hee hee. Your kids are really personable and happy and funny!! And extremely photogenic, too!
