Our beautiful Lily

This is another adorable creation by Robin at Red Thread Stitches.

Glamour girl Lily just thought she was the coolest in this and wasn't too thrilled about taking the outfit off for bedtime.
She WAS very happy to pose for pictures......

The swing set part 1

A couple of years ago we planted a hummingbird garden. It was right outside of our kitchen window. The plants were all red or pink and all favorites for hummingbirds. It was so much fun to watch them each summer.
Well..... that pretty little garden is in the only flat spot of our backyard.... therefore a perfect swing set spot. So the hummingbird garden has a new address on the other side of the yard.
I love hummingbirds (hummer birds as Lily calls them) but I am quite sure that watching the littles out of my kitchen window will be even better.

I took this picture with a tiny Lily (about 18 months old) in my arms... it was just after she came home from China

She informed me that she is a photographer

Ty helping Dad with the hummer bird garden relocation project (LOL)....... Ty loves working outside

He loves watering anything, everything, and everyone

Check out his cute Crocs.... they look like crocodiles... he LOVES them
Lily getting some good shots (as she said) with her disposable camera

Enjoying their new swing set

Lily helping Ty put his shoe back on.... she says that she is his mother
Ty and Dad

When I took this picture I noticed through the lens how much my little Lily bug has grown.......

The Littles this and that

Taking a break for snacks.....

Lily said... TY wants to go in.....
It sure doesn't look that way according to the look on his face

Ty making a run from Lily

For some reason they think it is hilarious to knock on the back door......

A little playtime at Graeter's Ice Cream

Also at Graeter's Ice Cream.... Lily's headband came off and this is the way she puts it back on

Looking at Ty (eating a snack)... these are her binoculars (compliments of Robin at
Red Thread Stitches)... she thinks it is a camera and happens to be taking a close up picture of Ty.

Now Ty thinks his is also a camera

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day (I know I am a day late but it is never too late to celebrate)!!!!
I hope all of you lovely and wonderful ladies had the best Mother's Day!

I am so blessed to be the mother of these 2 beautiful little people! They make my life so wonderful! They keep me on my toes and they certainly give me days when I could pull every hair out of my head ... but they are the light of my life.

I am forever thankful to the 2 women that chose life for them and made a decision that I can't even begin to imagine. I am so blessed and thankful for the gift of being their mom!!!!
OH I love them SO!!!!!!!!!

I wish my amazing mother a very happy Mother's Day! She is the best mother and the best friend. She has given me so much and I will always be thankful to her. She taught me that I could do anything I put my mind to and is always there for me whenever I try.
She is my biggest fan and is always by my side. She is always there to support me, to listen, to comfort, and to care. She is THE BEST and I love her more than words can say!

The Littles at the play park

Lily and Ty have enjoyed all of the nice weather we've had.
They love going to the play park (as Lily calls it).

We just put up a swing set in our yard and they couldn't be happier. Lily says we have our very own play park. Pictures coming soon...

In the meantime here are some of them at the park near our house.

Lily LOVES sunglasses (she has quite a collection of them).
In this picture she is holding Ty's sunglasses. Out of all her sunglasses she likes his the most. Imagine that! She will ask him for them SO many times that he just gives in and throws them at her..... as if to say... LEAVE ME ALONE about the sunglasses. He does it with a smile though... it is the one thing he is usually happy to share with her.

Swinging is serious business...

Also fun...

Lily loves to swing! She could swing for an hour. Notice that she has Ty's sunglasses on. He tossed them onto the ground and she snatched them right up.
