We were REALLY looking forward to the beach, pool, sand, sun, and fun.
The 3 of us needed a vacation badly. However, sometimes God has other plans for us. Perhaps there is another reason we were to be at home. We couldn't imagine flying with whatever Lily had and knew that we made the best decision to cancel.
We still took the week off and while it wasn't the same as relaxing on the beach we did get a lot done at home.
We also had some fun in between.
Today we went to COSI to see a Bob the Builder exhibit. Lily thought it was great fun and of course we enjoyed all the fun she had.

Oh dear.....I'm so sorry to hear you could not make your vacation. But better to be home with a sick child rather than in Mexico. Emmie and I got sick there once.....it was NOT fun!
